And all the Virtues of Man
Without his Vices.
This Praise, which would be unmeaning flattery

"Boatswain," a Dog
Who was born at Newfoundland,
May, 1803,
And died at Newstead Abbey

Ciertamente los perros son mejores que las personas, por lo que aplaudo el escribir una oda a un perro. Max era el más simpatico de los dos hermanos Rendón Shoup y probablemente el más inteligente también.
